Firestone Walker Brewing Company is a pioneer in the craft brewing industry and believes in the spirit of California. Since 80% of their beer is consumed in California, Adam Firestone, Co-Owner of Firestone Walker embarked on a mission to develop an innovative brewhouse environment for their customers, something never seen before – enter MCE (Modular Conveyor Express). John Pesicek, from MCE, was contacted by Darrin McMahon, Construction Manager at Firestone Walker, to design and manufacture an aesthetically appealing conveyor system that would be visible by all customers. Little did we know, not only would the conveyor system be visible, it would be installed above their heads! The MCE conveyor system became an integral component of the interior design of their newest Venice Beach, CA facility and is noticed by thousands of customers a year. According to David Walker, Co-Owner of Firestone Walker our overall vision was to “combine the authenticity of Old World craft brewing with the innovative spirit of California.”

Going places – Firestone Walker Brewmaster Matt Brynildson and his brewing team continue to develop award winning beer, earning “Mid-Size Brewing Company and Mid-Size Brewer of The Year” honors once again at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival® held in Denver, Colorado. Said co-owner David Walker. “It was obvious at this year’s festival that the craft beer revolution is going strong, and we are both proud and humbled to be a part of it.”
